Once an offer has expired, I think it would be best to rename the post with "Expired" in the title. Example with my post in that section:

[Expired] Free small sub from Quiznos

I tried to relabel it myself, but it doesn't change the main title. When a user clicks to look further into the post, it shows up then. But by then, it's too late. The user is wasting their time.

BTW, can any Mods change my post's title? (The Quizno's one, not this one) :D

i'll change your quiznos title. :)

as people can't change their own thread titles, and as it'd be a bit of a chore both for people to try and remember at a later date whether or not their posted offers have expired, and for the mods to go changing each title as and when, might i suggest that in future people put the expiry date in the title, as they make the thread... so like:

Free small sub from Quiznos (USA only, expires 30th feb '09)

that'd work, wouldn't it?

I like the thread title suggestions of hoodedclawjen. Both the regional and time restrictions on offers in thread titles would be very helpful.

I like that idea, Jen. I'll try to remember to do that each time I post an offer in the FF.
