View Full Version : Vegan Make-up brushes at Target?

Yep!!! Found them this afternoon! By ecotool. The set was $10.99 and came with a blush brush, foundation brush, eyeshadow brush, eyeliner brush, brow/lash brush, and reausable pouch. They are cruelty-free and made out of Synthetic Taklon, bamboo, recycled aluminium, hemp, and cotton. It was entirely unexpected, but so exciting to find a vegan and sustainable brand at Target! Just thought all should know :)

C'mon over to the Everyday Minerals thread. There are some EcoTools lovers in there!

I use the same set and love it! I've got 2 sets of them! :)

They don't compare in quality to some of the high-end taklon brushes I have (like my Hourglass finishing brush), but for the price you can't go wrong. I especially like the (two-tone) concealer brush and the other small, flat brush in the set. The blush brush is good, too, although sometimes I wish it was more round and less oval (but that's a personal preference issue).

I hear they've got a new set out now with a retractable kabuki and some other brushes (I think it's the same size as the other set and it definitely has a couple of shadow brushes). I haven't found a set yet around here, but I'm looking. :D

I got my powder and blush brushes and eyeliner brush from Urban Decay too. I will definitely have to check out Target then.

EcoTools (http://www.target.com/Eco-Tools-5-pc-Brush-Set/dp/B001G71QKO/sr=1-1/qid=1236233115/ref=sr_1_1/180-4683140-7452221?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=0&index=target&rh=k%3Aeco%20tools&page=1) has a great starter set. It's vegan. If you want to step it up, Everyday Minerals has nice ones, too.

Glad you like them :) I honestly like them better than the EcoTools.

So far I do too. I think it will be great to have the EcoTools as backups when the others are drying, for travel, etc.

Welcome, SouziQ! Have you seen the EcoTools in your area yet? What are you using now?

I actually work at a popular beauty supply store, and I don't even use their brushes. I have a blush brush that I have used for a few years thats been pretty trusty, other than that it's usually fingers. I have been thinking about buying a nice set, and I had no idea that Target was an option.
