When people lose weight, many are excited to see what they looked like before and what they have become. We do this on another forum I frequent, and I thought it would be nice to bring it here.
Do not participate if you feel uncomfortable, but for everyone else, lets see your progress!
I'll start.
I found the only picture I could find that showed my body when I was around my biggest. Then the ones today, 15lbs lighter.

Great job, Amber! I wish I was in your shoes but I've just started my journey of trying to lose 25 pounds (McDougall style...)
Have you been doing any specific weight loss plan or just eating healthy vegan foods :D?

You can already see the difference, in your arms especially.
Do you have a particular number as your goal i.e clothing size, scale, or just what feels 'right'?

I meant for people to post too if they feel comfy, but no one has to lol.
I'm not really following any particular diet. I just try to eat healthy when I can, though I do recognize that when I eat healthier meals they tend to be pretty much vegan. (who needs all the fat and calories from dairy products).
I do do have "dreams" of what size I want to be etc, but generally I just want to be within a healthy weight range for my height and bone structure. whether that's a 6 or 12 that doesn't matter. (I just want to get out of the plus section lol)
Thank You for all the compliments! It really gives me courage to keep going!

Heehee, alright, well, you're doing so well, maybe it's a good idea for me to try it... right now I'm just trying to eat properly and get my life under control, so once I switch to weight loss/toning again I'll keep this thread in mind :)

You look great! I have a lot of weight to lose and I feel that by going veggie, I'll be doing without all the fast food I used to eat.
You can see the difference in the arms and face. Way to go and keep up the awesome work!

Umm, are you really tall or have a lot of muscle under your layer of fat cos you don't look anywhere near those two weights in either picture. I mean all that in a good way!!!
Excellent job, theatrelife101 and everyone else who is trying even if there is no success at the moment or there are setbacks...Giving your best effort TRYING is what matters, the rest is just perks. :)

This is me maybe 3/4 years ago at my very heaviest (~205 lbs) and the second is me last week, on Feb. 22nd. I hover around 141-144ish these days, but I'm going to get down under 140 before my birthday (3/25). When I became veg and started eating healthier and cut out a lot of sweets, I was at 189 lbs (Feb of '08), so I've lost about 45 lbs over the past year. I took a little mental vacation on watching my caloric intake a little after Christmas up until last week, and I've been hovering around the same weight! I'm very grateful for that! :) I've noticed that I lose in stages. I had a REALLY hard time around 165 lbs; it was all mental. At my very thinnest post-puberty, I was still around 165, so I had to convince myself that it WAS possible to drop under that! That, and my SO at the time was worried I'd lose my butt, haha.
But I regained control and am working my way back down again. Partayy!!! Great job to both of ya, Theatrelife and Spaz! :bobo: :vebo: :nana: Woo!
