my mohawk is falling apart. the hair seems really weak and i just tried conditioning it and while rubbing the conditioner in hairs were ripping out and sticking to my hand, and i havent even put it up in days.
im looking for a hair strengthener/deep conditioner thats cruelty free. i thought maybe mane n tail would work but im guessing they probably test on animals, i havent found anything about them on the internet.
any advice?

Tressame doesn't test on animals, I use their anti-breakage shampoo and conditioner

Burt's Bees has some cruelty-free deep conditioner that I like.

You could also use pure jojoba oil, olive oil, coconut oil, macadamia nut oil, rice bran oil, or something similarly nourishing on your hair--

Wet hair-- apply a fair amount of oil to coat-- wrap head in a warm towel-- allow 20 minutes to soak in, longer is fine too-- shampoo lightly and rinse out.

I second the coconut oil suggestion. I use it to moisturize my whole body and it makes your skin look glowy and beautiful, and your hair soft and shiney. Leave it on your hair overnight, and then wash it out in the morning. Or if you're just going to gel it up, you might as well leave the oil in! Best thing I've ever used.
