I can't remember the name of the hotel, my brother and SIL switched hotels on us in midstream. I'll get back to you on that.

Pretty sure I heard it closed. One of the cooks at Himalayas here in Norman worked there I think. We have a "Taste of India" here in Norman and I didn't find it to be very good.

It's still iffy/doubtful I can go, so it's ultimately up to you guys.

I had already requested one PTO day during the month for my trip to Chicago...it doesn't look like I'll be able to take another one to come up there :(

You weren't coming here to meet up. You were coming for your niece's bat mitzvah. Did that get canceled? The meet up was a side thing, no?

Well, I never made it to Oklahoma (all our flights out of California were cancelled), Assuming we actually made it onto an airplane at all, by the time we got there, the main events (bat mitzvah, lunch and party in the evening) would all be over. So we threw in the towel and decided to get a refund on the plane tickets and go home.

I don't know when I'll ever make it to Oklahoma, but I would like to get back there eventually (I was last there in November 2001). Maybe when that happens it will be a more agreeable time for some of us, if not all of us, to get together. So let's keep thinking positive thoughts! I still want to meet all of you! (Well, I've already met Brandon, but not the rest of you). It would be cool to have Brandon there if and when this meetup does happen; he's such a cutiepie, as you can see from his avatar. ;)

I'm closing this thread. Whattabummer. :(
